Ahh, Wisconsin. When many people hear Wisconsin, they think or Cheese, ice fishing, or the Packers, and those thoughts would be correct. Wisconsin is a leading state in milk and cheese production, giving residents the nickname of "Cheeseheads." With over 14,000 lakes in the state, ice fishing is not hard to come by in the freezing winters they experience. And as for the Packers, the green and gold team storms the field as members of the NFL about every week of football season.
Wisconsin was originally explored on behalf of the French in 1634. The land was obtained by Great Britain in 1763 as a result of the French and Indian Wars. The US acquired in 1783 after the Revolutionary War, but Britain remained in control until after the War of 1812.
Wisconsin is now home to a couple of our favorite vendors: Quivvers and Green 3 Apparel. Quivvers are a fashionable twist on fanny packs, which were convenient but unattractive. Quivvers can be worn across the body, making them a handsfree and stylish way to carry all of your essentials. Green 3 Apparel is built on a personal philosophy of honesty, environmental awareness, love of family, and a sense of childlike wonder that no one should ever outgrow. We carry their adorable junior throw blankets and stylish hand warmers. You can feel good about buying their products.
